We, the academics listed below, strongly believe that it is time to abandon the traditional popular Activity on Arc (AoA) paradigm for the Critical Path Method (CPM) in favour of the much superior and user-friendlier Activity on Node (AoN) framework.
We call upon developers of CPM related courseware, in particular authors of undergraduate textbooks dealing with topic, to refrain from using the AoA paradigm.
We call upon lecturers still addicted to AoA to quit this bad habit and convert to AoN. The sooner the better.
We shall be happy to provide moral and technical support to new converts.
