Melbourne (population: over 3 million) is a wonderful cosmopolitan city. Not surprisingly, it was voted "the most livable city in the world" on more than one occasion. Its arch rival on this front is .... Vancouver, Canada.
My favourite place is Queen Victoria Market where, until recently, we used do our weekly fruit and vegetables shopping. It must be one of the most colorful, vibrant and best-stocked fresh produce markets in the world.
